1. Seafood Ramen Noodle Soup

Begin by hard boiling 2 eggs, and sauté 4 large shrimp with sesame oil until pink. Leave them in a warming oven, dry 4 medium scallops, then sauté them in the same pan with the same oil. Leave them in the warming oven with the shrimp, and save the oil. Next, pour 4 cups of seafood stock into a large pot. If you’re cooking in your apartment, you can use store-bought stock. Add 3 tablespoons of tamari sauce, 2 tablespoons of the oil from the fish pan, and a half-inch piece of sliced ginger root, and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Once everything is cooked, add pasta to the bottom of a deep bowl, then pour the stock over it. Arrange the shrimp and scallops, and add sliced red onion, shredded baby carrot, 2 slices of sushi wrap, 2 cut green onions, and the hard boiled eggs.

2. Shrimp Scampi

A very quick recipe for a classic dish. Start by swirling two tablespoons of olive oil and two tablespoons of butter into a pan. Add one tablespoon of minced garlic and 1/2 teaspoon of red pepper flakes to the pan. Sauté the garlic for one minute, and then add one pound of shrimp and 1/2 cup of wine. Stir and coat the shrimp evenly, and cooking on high heat for three minutes. Flip the shrimp and cook for one more minute, then top with parsley, lemon juice, and black pepper. If you’re cooking in your apartment for a group, put the mixture on top of pasta for a delicious group meal.

3. Portuguese-Style Fish Stew

Start by cooking two bay leaves and two teaspoons of paprika in a saucepan coated with two tablespoons of olive oil for 30 seconds. Add a full sliced onion, a small sliced green pepper, a 14.5-ounce can of diced tomatoes, a finely chopped garlic clove, and two tablespoons of cilantro. Cover and cook this for around 10 minutes with salt and pepper until the vegetables are nice and soft. You want to have 1.5 pounds of skinless bass chopped up to your chosen size, and simmer this in the same pan with the veggies for about 5 to 7 minutes. Once that is all done, toss the mixture in bowls, drizzle with 1 tablespoon of olive oil, and add some fresh cilantro on top. This is another excellent meal for groups.
